Every team has a shared library: a folder tree plus the items in it, which all joined members can see and manage. It works just like your own My Work, only shared. Open a team from the Spaces group of the Explorer sidebar to see it.
The library is liveworkspace's, so it holds items from every app: a team's folder can keep a document beside a Canvas from livediagram and a Design from livedesign. Choose All at the top of the page to see them all.
What everyone can do
A team item belongs to the whole team, not just to the person who made it. Every joined member can:
- create a new document or folder in the library, with Create;
- open and edit every item;
- rename, duplicate, move and delete an item;
- make and manage its share links and its share password.
Deleting a team item moves it to the Trash, where every member can restore it.
There are no per-folder or per-member permissions inside a team: everyone who has joined can manage everything. People with a pending invitation get nothing until they accept.
Moving items in and out
An item lives in exactly one place: your own My Work, or one team's library. Change Folder in an item's menu opens a picker of every place you can file it: pick a space first (My Work, or one of your teams), then browse into the folder you want and press Move Here. Moving an item into or out of a team needs you to be a member of that team.
An item in a team library shows a Team badge in the Explorer, since every joined member can open it.
When someone leaves
Membership is checked each time someone opens a team item, so a person who leaves the team, or is removed, loses access within a few minutes, even to an item they have open.
Use Create, then New Document, from inside a team folder so the new document lands in the folder you are browsing.
