livedocuments is for teams who make things to share and need to make them together. The product shines when several people are on the same document at once, building one set of pages in real time. That said, it works just as well for one person writing something up, and the editor always works without signing in.
The teams it serves
A few groups feel right at home:
- Anyone writing something up: briefs, reports, proposals and how-tos as articles, written together with comments on the words.
- People presenting: decks built from slide pages and their layouts, then presented full screen with the laser and spotlight.
- Marketing and communications teams making infographics, posters, one-pagers and social posts on infographic pages, in your themes, to export or present.
Ways people use it
The same editor covers a wide range of work:
Articles and write-ups
Writing that flows from page to page, with pictures and charts in the text.
Slide decks
Slides started from a layout, in the deck as you make them, ready to present.
Infographics and handouts
Pages you size, paint and lay out, then export or present.
Templates
Ready-made decks, articles, posters and more to start from.
Whether you sign in or not
livedocuments is friction-free on purpose. A first-time visitor can build a real document as a guest and only later create an account to sync across devices and join teams. A signed-in user can still hand a share link to a guest who edits without any account at all.
